All you need is love, love, love
One of the standard jokes blokes make is that when you fall in love then you change; you dump your mates; you focus on your girl.

Well, I dunno about that. I never had "mates" to dump (beyond Ewan, who had already married). But I _do_ note that my behaviour changes around Tori.

One example... when she leaves my house I nearly always "chase" her car as she reverse up my driveway, waving "goodbye" to her as she goes. I continue to wave as she drives down the street.

WTF? This is stupid insipid brainless behaviour. But I do it. It makes me happy. The times I don't do it (eg putting food in the freezer after shopping) actually makes me sad. I've missed an opertunity to demonstrate my love.

I guess it's true. People in love act contrary to their base behaviour. I'm a rational geek, but I chase Tori's car, waving at her. Uh huh. So much for rationality!
